Monsters & Memories is an indie MMO built like late-90s EverQuest: group grinding, a dangerous world, no quest map. Early access opens October 1, 2026 (delayed from June) and includes Module 1: Descent into the Deep. The model is a subscription at around $15 a month with no in-game shop — the exact opposite of the monetization-heavy segment elsewhere on the calendar.
