Nexon's mobile Mabinogi: not just combat, but cooking, music and housing too. The Japanese service opens October 7 — everyone starts from scratch there.
About Mabinogi Mobile
Mabinogi Mobile is an MMORPG from devCAT, a Nexon subsidiary, set in the Mabinogi universe: the original game has been running since 2004, and the mobile entry inherits the same Erinn but rebuilds the story from scratch. Development took about eight years. You can play on phone or PC — cross-play is supported and the account is shared. What sets it apart from most mobile MMORPGs is exactly what people love Mabinogi for: life-sim content here isn't an add-on to combat, it's half the game. Cooking, crafting, music and housing are all separate pursuits with their own progression. The game is free-to-play with an in-game shop. The Korean service has been live since March 27, 2025. Japan is a separate region with its own launch: October 7, 2026, a Wednesday. There's no character transfer from the Korean version — all Japanese players start at level 1, and the economy is its own. Nexon hasn't announced the launch hour yet; once it does, the date on this page will update automatically. Pre-registration in Japan has already passed 200,000 sign-ups, after which the publisher added the next milestone of 250,000. Registration runs until launch day.
