Last Epoch is an action RPG from indie studio Eleventh Hour Games, in which the hero travels through the eras of a single world. Its main strengths are crafting that is both approachable and deep, five masteries per class, and an in-game loot filter. It's a paid game with no subscription, on Steam. A season — formerly called a cycle — is a temporary league: characters are created fresh, and the trade faction and economy start from zero. Old heroes remain in the permanent Legacy mode. Season 5 "Rage of the Frostborn" starts on October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM Central Time. The seasonal mechanic is "Morditas' Rage" with a new endgame boss, Morditas. Paladin gets the Radiant Lance skill, and the item faction system has been reworked.
