Hero Siege is a pixel-art action RPG from Finnish studio Panic Art Studios, inspired by Diablo II: runewords, a ladder, dozens of classes and co-op for up to four players. It's a paid game, available on Steam and PlayStation 5. Seasons follow the model of the D2 ladder. Characters are created from scratch, each season has its own mechanic and leaderboard, and once it ends heroes move over to the regular mode. Recent seasons have grown the game considerably: Season 9 added an incarnation tree with 1,600-plus nodes and an aether tree. Season 10 "Ebontharn" launched on August 21, 2026. The studio hasn't announced the next one. Seasons 9 and 10 were four and a half months apart, so Season 11 isn't expected before January 2027.
