Smilegate's fantasy MMORPG on PC and mobile: faction battles, a sanctuary that grows your hero while you're offline, and new worlds for those who arrived late. Launched in Korea on September 10, 2026.
About Eclipse: The Awakening
Eclipse: The Awakening (이클립스: 더 어웨이크닝) is an MMORPG from Korean studio NPIXEL, published by Smilegate and running on the STOVE platform. The name and key art reference an eclipse. You can play on PC or on your phone. The headline feature the publisher pushes is the sanctuary (성소). Relics inside it accumulate growth resources on a timer, so your character keeps progressing even in the hours you're offline. The rest is the usual Korean package: hunting, dungeons, an auction house, guilds and faction battles. The first major update arrived a week after launch. It added the Highriver RvR field: two factions of ten players each, a ten-minute fight, instant respawns for the dead, and the side that scores first wins. It also buffed the survivability of the melee classes — Fighter and Assassin — and increased gold drops. The Korean launch was September 10, 2026. A new world, Belzera, opened on September 16 with three servers, and three more will be added on September 19 at 10:00 KST. For those who missed launch, it's a chance to start on equal footing with everyone else. The service is Korea-only; the publisher has announced nothing for other regions.
