About Dokkaebi's World
Dokkaebi's World (도깨비의세계) is a mobile MMORPG that Kakao Games is launching with the studio SuperCat on October 8, 2026. The game was shown at an online showcase on September 8: Kakao Games CEO Lee Si-woo said it was made for the enjoyment of growing and playing together, not for racing. There are no classes. Instead there are twelve skill styles that you can combine however you like: three skills of one style unlock 신식 개방, a separate combat mechanic unique to each style. You can swap the set to fit the task: area damage and survivability for regular hunting, buffs and single-target hits for a boss, a specific role in clan content. The role isn't nailed to the character — it follows the skills you pick. The world is Korean fantasy inspired by a web novel: the village of Tabaro with tiled roofs, a market and a tavern, mountain trails and rivers. Characters are drawn in 2D pixels, while the world is 3D with a 360-degree camera. In regular server fields you can't attack other players — the focus is on growing together rather than conflict. What matters for launch: server bosses that several clans team up against, and a seasonal competition where three servers are matched against each other at once. Character name and server reservation opens on September 22, two and a half weeks before launch.
