About Diablo II: Resurrected
Diablo II: Resurrected is a 2021 remaster of Diablo II and Lord of Destruction from Blizzard and Vicarious Visions. The original game, mechanics and balance are preserved, while the graphics and interface were rebuilt. The game is buy-to-play, and the servers are on Battle.net. Seasons here are called ladders. On reset day everyone plays ladder characters from scratch in a shared fresh economy. Some runewords and events are available only in the ladder, so the first weeks of a season are the main window for trading and racing for rare runes. When the ladder ends, characters move to non-ladder mode. Ladder Season 15 started on August 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM Pacific. Blizzard hasn't announced a date for the 16th. Seasons last three to four months, so a reset is expected in late November or December.
