A wipe at the start of every early access season, roughly every 4 months. Launches usually happen at 06:00 UTC. After S10 (July 17, 2026), the next one is expected in the second half of October.
Dark and Darker is a fantasy first-person extraction action game from the Korean studio IRONMACE. A party descends into a dungeon, fights monsters and other parties, and has to find the exit before the ring closes in. The base game is free, with an expanded access tier sold separately. The game is in early access, and each of its seasons starts with a full wipe: stash, gold and character levels are reset. A season often opens with a "Solo Self Found" mode for a couple of weeks, with no trading, so everyone starts on equal footing. Season 10, "Firedeep", launched on July 17, 2026, at 06:00 UTC, with no trading for the first two weeks. Seasons last around four months, and the current one is expected to end around October 17. IRONMACE has not announced the date of the next wipe.
