Aniimo is a free-to-play open-world creature-collecting RPG from Pawprint Studio. It's set on the continent of Idyll: Aniimo creatures are caught with special capsules — you set traps and wait for the right moment. Which Aniimo you run into depends on the terrain, weather, natural phenomena and time of day, and most of them can evolve. The core mechanic is called "weaving": the player literally becomes any Aniimo they've caught and uses its abilities — to solve puzzles, win fights and get anywhere. Glide, dive, burrow — every point of Idyll can be reached. Each player has a home on wheels parked at a camp right in the open world, and in a floating megacity in the sky you meet other trailblazers and enter competitions. For playing together there's co-op and the Egg Heist mode: three-player teams hunt for loot in real time and fight on the Lost Islands against creatures and other teams. Before release the game went through three closed tests. Global launch — September 16, 2026 on PC and consoles at 10:00 UTC+8. The Europe, Asia and Americas servers open simultaneously: in the Americas that's still the evening of September 15, which is why Steam lists the release as the 15th. The iOS and Android version launches September 23 at 02:00 UTC. The game is free-to-play with in-game purchases.
